September 12: On behalf of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Millerstown, I would like to invite your congregation to an upcoming Evangelism and Outreach Workshop on Saturday, September 12, 2026. [1] The seminar, titled "Being Equipped for a Life of Active Faith," will run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are honored to host guest speaker Rev. Randy Nelson from the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations (AFLC), who will share practical insights and skills for engaging our local communities. [1, 2] Event Details: Date: Saturday, September 12, 2026 [1] Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM [1, 2] Location: St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Millerstown, PA Cost: Free to attend (Complimentary morning snacks and lunch are provided) [1, 2] We would be grateful if you could share this invitation with your staff, outreach committees, and congregation by placing it in your upcoming bulletins or weekly newsletters. Sept. 11 Grocery Auction
Sept. 19: New Harvest Community Church invites you to their annual Yard Sale & Community Fun Day on Sept. 19th - held @ 527 Maple Street. Yard sale items (7-1 p.m.) will be priced to sell! Food (10-1 p.m.) will be located at the pavilion. There is no set price for the pulled pork, hot dogs, fixins' & dessert - they are by donation. Invite your friends! Each year we choose where the proceeds from both activities will go. This year these donations will be given to aid students in need through the Perry & Juniata School Districts. For more information, contact the church by calling 717-589-3083 or emailing office@newharvestcc.com.
